Nach seiner Ausbildung zum Bankkaufmann studierte Dr. Walz Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Wirtschaftsinformatik an der Universität Würzburg.

2000 promovierte er zum Thema Organisation von Konzerneinführungen durch Adaption von Standardsoftwarebibliotheken. Seitdem ist er Vorstand der IBIS Prof. Thome AG.

Vorher war Herr Dr. Hufgard wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter bei Professor Thome und promovierte zum Thema "Betriebswirtschaftliche Softwarebibliotheken und Adaption".
