A very positive outcome for the 15th SAP-IBIS Conference at Marienberg Fortress in 2012: more than 300 heads of IT, process owners and applications and systems managers of SAP user organizations attended. The conference addressed the scope of SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
It took place on January 30 and 31, and was SAP's first such event of 2012. The joint conference, hosted by IBIS Prof. Thome and SAP, concentrated primarily on how innovative technologies can improve SAP users' productivity.
Barbara Althoff-Simon, Corporate Officer and Head of Installed Base Maintenance & Support at SAP opened the two-day conference. True to annual tradition, Professor Rainer Thome, Chair of the Faculty for Business Administration and Information Technology at the University of Würzburg, held the keynote.
